Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Vander Labs, the website at https://vanderlabs.ren16.com, the connector service, and the creator studio (together, the service). The service is operated by PT Eksekutif Satu Internasional, trading as REN16 (we, us). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Vander Labs is a library of skills: documents written by people that tell an AI assistant how to approach a task. Members save skills to a personal library and connect Vander Labs to their own AI assistant through a connector URL using the Model Context Protocol over HTTPS. Creators publish skills through the studio. Vander Labs does not provide an AI assistant; you use your own, under that provider's terms.

2. Preview status

The service is currently in preview. Payments are not live. The plans shown (Free, and Pro at a provisional price of $9 a month) describe how the service is intended to work and may change before payments begin. Earnings figures shown to creators during the preview are informational and do not create a payment obligation until paid plans are live and you have accepted the payment terms at that time. We may change, suspend or discontinue features during the preview with reasonable notice where practical.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Keep your sign-in details and your connector URL confidential; anything done through your account or connector is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly if you believe either has been compromised. You can reset your connector URL at any time from the Connect page or Settings, which invalidates the old one. You can delete your account from Settings; see the privacy policy for what happens to your data.

4. Plans and limits

The Free plan lets you save up to 5 skills in your library. The Pro plan, when it becomes available, removes that limit and is billed monthly. Prices will be shown before you pay, and taxes may apply depending on where you live. When payments are live, you may cancel at any time and your plan will run to the end of the paid period. Refund terms will be published with the payment terms; during the preview there are no charges and therefore no refunds.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: share your connector URL or use it to give access to people who are not account holders; copy, scrape, resell or redistribute skill text outside of use by your own AI assistant on your own account; attempt to access other members' libraries or data; interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or place unreasonable load on it; use the service to produce content that is unlawful, harmful or infringing; or impersonate any person or organization. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

6. Skills and creators

Creators keep ownership of the skills they publish. By submitting a skill you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display and deliver it through the service, including to members' AI assistants, and to make the technical copies needed to do so. You may unlist a skill at any time, after which it is no longer delivered to new sessions; copies already loaded into a member's AI session are outside our control.

You confirm that each skill you publish is your own original work or that you have the rights to publish it, that it does not infringe anyone's rights, and that it does not contain personal data about other people without their permission. We review skills before publication and may decline, edit the catalog listing of, or remove any skill at our discretion, including after publication if we receive a credible complaint. Review usually takes up to 3 days but is not guaranteed.

7. Creator payments

When paid plans are live, 60 percent of the subscription paid by each Pro member in a month is allocated to the creators of the skills that member's AI loaded during that month, divided in proportion to the number of distinct days each skill was used. Payouts are made on the schedule, in the currencies and above the minimum thresholds we publish with the payment terms, and may be subject to withholding or reporting required by law. We may withhold or reverse payments connected to fraud, self-dealing or breaches of these terms. Nothing in the preview earnings display is a promise of payment.

8. Content and intellectual property

The service, its design, text, code and the Vander Labs name are owned by REN16 or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose. Skills are licensed to you for use by your own AI assistant and are not licensed for redistribution. Related videos shown on skill pages are public videos by their respective authors, embedded with credit, and are governed by their own platform's terms.

If you believe content on the service infringes your rights, contact us with the location of the content, a description of the right you hold, and your contact details, and we will investigate and act promptly.

9. What skills are, and are not

Skills are instructions written by people to guide an AI assistant. They are not professional advice. The output your AI produces depends on your AI, your prompt and your judgment. You are responsible for checking any work before relying on it, especially in areas that affect health, safety, money or legal rights. We do not guarantee that any skill is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose. If you find a skill that is wrong or unsafe, report it from the skill page or contact us.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance and will try to give notice for planned downtime that affects the connector.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, REN16 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or of any skill, and our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice where practical and, when payments are live, refund any unused prepaid period if the termination was not caused by your breach. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, licenses already granted for content delivered, limitation of liability, governing law) survive termination.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify you by email or a notice on the site at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute that we cannot resolve informally will be brought before the competent courts of the Republic of Indonesia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live. Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us so we can try to fix the problem directly.
