Build a project from several blueprints

A bigger project rarely matches one blueprint. A software product, for example, needs decisions about the product itself, sign-in, payments, hosting and growth, and each part may already be researched in a different blueprint. Your AI can take the parts that fit from several of them and put them together into one plan for your project, like pieces of a puzzle.

Ask for it

With Vander Labs connected, describe your project and ask for it plainly, for example:

I want to build a subscription app for language tutors. Find the Vander Labs blueprints that fit each part (payments, sign-in, hosting, growth), take what fits, and put it together into one plan for me. Say which part came from which blueprint.

You can also name the blueprints you want it to use.

What your AI does

  1. Searches once per part. It looks for a blueprint on each part of the project instead of one search for the whole thing.
  2. Skims the candidates. It reads the outlines of up to 10 blueprints at once: the context of each (stage, market, budget, team and dates) and the headings of its decisions and dead ends, with their evidence tags. An outline costs a few hundred tokens; a full blueprint costs a few thousand.
  3. Loads only what it will use. It loads in full the blueprints whose parts fit your project and leaves the rest.
  4. Puts the plan together. It says which part came from which blueprint, keeps each claim's [verified], [tried] or [hypothesis] tag, points out where blueprints disagree or were researched for a different market, budget, team size or date, and tags anything it adds to fill a gap [hypothesis].
  5. Lists what to re-check. Prices, rules and platform features from every blueprint it used go on one list to check before you act on them.

On each plan

  • Free: your AI can read the outline of every blueprint, but it loads previews (the start of each file), so the plan it builds is partial.
  • Pro, Ultra and the 7-day trial: your AI loads every public blueprint in full.
  • Ultra and Vault teams: your private blueprints can be part of the puzzle too.

What you may do with the result

The plan is yours to use for your own work and your company's: build the product, change the plan, decide differently. You may not copy or redistribute the text of the blueprints, or publish the combined plan as a new public blueprint. To keep the plan for your AI, ask it to save the plan to your Ultra vault or to your team.

Once you have built and tested things yourself, you can publish what you decided, tried and checked as a blueprint of your own, naming the blueprints you started from. How to write a blueprint has the format.

How creators are paid for it

On Pro, Ultra or a Vault seat, each public blueprint by another creator that your AI loads in full counts for that creator once a day, like any other use, so a plan built from five creators' blueprints pays all five. Outlines, previews, Free and trial use, your own blueprints and private blueprints in a vault or team earn nothing. Earnings has the details.
