Plans and billing

Every price on Vander Labs is in US dollars and the same in every country. Paddle, our merchant of record, adds sales tax or VAT where it applies, charges your payment method and sends the receipt.

The plans

  • Free: $0. Browse every blueprint and skill, read a preview of each SKILL.md (the start of the file, never more than 40%) and save up to 5. Your AI receives outlines and previews, not the full text.
  • Pro: $49 a month or $490 a year. Every public blueprint and skill loaded in full by your AI in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code through one connector URL, an unlimited library and automatic updates.
  • Ultra: $249 a month or $2,490 a year. Everything in Pro, plus a blueprint or skill built for you every month, a private vault of up to 25 blueprints and skills only your AI loads, early access to new Master skills once they launch, and answers within one working day. New Ultra memberships are capped at 1,000 per calendar year. Details below.
  • Vault Team: $79 per seat a month, billed yearly ($948 per seat a year), from 10 seats. For companies; see Vault teams.
  • Vault Enterprise: from $60,000 a year, by contract and invoice.

Yearly billing gives two months free. That is the only price incentive: there are no discounts or coupon codes.

Your dashboard

Your dashboard is the first page after you sign in. It shows your plan and whether it is active, on trial, waiting for a payment or ending, the date and amount of your next payment, your recent payments and refunds, what your plan gives you, and how your AI used Vander Labs this month. Right after you pay, it confirms the payment as soon as Paddle has switched your plan on, usually within seconds. Paddle also emails a receipt for every payment. Invoices, your payment method and cancellation are one click away from the dashboard or Settings.

What Ultra includes

Everything Ultra adds is in your Ultra room.

  • A blueprint or a skill built for you, every month. Ask for a blueprint (the research behind something you are planning: decisions, dead ends, checked facts with sources and dates, numbers) or a skill (one task you want your AI to do your way). Our team builds it and puts it in your vault within 10 working days. You get one request per calendar month; a new one opens on the 1st, and unused requests do not carry over. If we can not build a request (it is unlawful or harmful, needs other people's personal data, or is not one clear project or task), we tell you why and it does not use up your month. What we deliver is yours to use and edit. We never publish your request or your details; we may write a general blueprint or skill on the same subject for everyone.
  • A private vault. Up to 25 blueprints and skills that only your AI loads: the research behind your own projects, the decisions you already made and the dead ends you already hit, plus your writing voice and your checklists. Ask your AI to save a project there ("save this as a private blueprint in my vault"), or write it in the studio. Nothing in the vault is reviewed or published, and nobody else can read it, Vander Labs staff included. The vault loads while you have Ultra; if Ultra ends, it waits for you and loads again when you come back.
  • Early access. When Master skills launch, new ones reach Ultra members 90 days before Pro, and your AI loads them in full straight away.
  • Answers first. Messages from Ultra members go to the top of our queue. We answer within one working day.

Ratings and comments

Pro, Ultra and Vault members can rate every public blueprint and skill from one to five stars and comment on it. Its creator can always answer. Free members and visitors can read ratings and comments. Your comment shows your display name, avatar and plan, and a Used it mark when your AI has loaded it. Keep it on topic: no ads, no personal data, no abuse. We remove comments that break these rules.

The 7-day trial

Each account can try Pro once for 7 days, with no card. The trial starts only when you start it yourself, from the pricing page, your library, Connect or Settings, and it ends by itself. Nothing renews and nothing is charged. Afterwards you are back on Free unless you subscribe.

Paying

  1. Open Pricing, choose monthly or yearly, then Get Pro or Get Ultra.
  2. Paddle's checkout opens. Pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay, as available where you are.
  3. Your plan starts once the payment goes through, and Paddle emails your receipt.

Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. To cancel, open Settings, go to Plan and billing and choose Cancel plan, or use the link in your Paddle receipt. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to Free. If you change your mind before then, choose Keep my plan.

Changing your plan

Open Change plan from your dashboard or Settings. Choose Pro or Ultra, monthly or yearly, and you see exactly what you pay before you confirm.

  • Upgrades start at once. Pro to Ultra, or monthly to yearly. Paddle charges a full period of the new plan less a credit for the unused part of what you paid, and your billing date moves to today. Example: you paid $49 for Pro on 1 October and upgrade to Ultra on 16 October. You pay $249 less about $25.29 of unused Pro (16 of October's 31 days), so about $223.71 today, and then $249 every month from 16 November. If Paddle can not move your billing date, it charges the prorated difference instead and your date stays the same.
  • Downgrades wait for your renewal. Ultra to Pro, or yearly to monthly. Nothing is charged today and nothing is refunded: you keep your current plan until the period you paid for ends, and the new price starts on that date. Until then you can choose Keep to cancel the switch.
  • From a yearly plan, upgrade to Ultra yearly; a switch to monthly billing starts when your paid year ends.
  • One switch at a time. If a downgrade is scheduled and you choose something else, the scheduled switch is cancelled first.
  • When Ultra ends, your private vault closes and keeps everything in it for when you come back. What we built for you on request stays loaded by your AI, and a request you sent while on Ultra is still delivered.
  • A plan with a failed payment, or one set to end, is changed after you update the payment method or keep the plan.

Tax is added where it applies, and Paddle emails a receipt for every charge.

Invoices and payment method

In Settings, under Plan and billing, choose Invoices and payment method. It opens Paddle's customer portal, where you download invoices and change your card or other payment method.

If a payment fails

Paddle retries the payment, and your plan keeps running for the retry period. Settings shows a notice when your last payment did not go through. Update your payment method in Paddle's portal so the plan keeps running.

Founding members

The first 500 Pro members and the first 100 Ultra members get Founding status: a permanent badge, for as long as they stay subscribed. It is not a discount.

Prices over time

Prices rise as the catalog grows. You keep the price you joined at for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel and subscribe again later, the price at that time applies.

Paying from Indonesia

Prices are the same in Indonesia as everywhere else. Pro at $49 a month is about Rp885,000 at Rp18,053 per dollar, the rate on October 16, 2026. Paddle charges Indonesian cards in US dollars and your bank converts at its own rate, so the amount on your bank statement can differ a little.

Refunds

If Vander Labs is not right for you, ask within 14 days of the first payment of a Pro, Ultra or Vault Team subscription for a full refund. The refund policy has the details.
