Vault teams
A Vault team gives every seat all public blueprints and skills plus your company's private ones. This guide covers setting a team up and running it. For what Vault is and what it costs, see Vault for teams.
Set up a team
- Open the pricing page and choose Vault Team.
- Enter the team name and the number of seats, at least 10.
- Pay through Paddle's checkout. Vault Team is $79 per seat a month, billed yearly ($948 per seat a year).
- Open your team page from Settings. You are the team's owner.
Invite people
- On the team page, under People, enter the person's email address, choose a role and choose Send invitation.
- They get an email with a link. The link is valid for 14 days and must be accepted with the email address it was sent to. If they do not have an account yet, they create one with that address.
- While an invitation waits, you can copy its link or revoke it under Waiting to join.
Waiting invitations take up seats. When every seat is taken, add seats first.
Roles
- Owner and Admin: manage people and seats.
- Editor: writes private blueprints and skills.
- Member: uses them.
Only the owner can hand ownership to someone else.
Private blueprints and skills
- Start one with New private skill on the team page. It opens the Studio editor, where you choose blueprint or skill.
- An editor can also ask their AI, through the connector, to save a project to the team as a private blueprint.
- They use the same SKILL.md format as public ones, so How to write a blueprint and How to write a skill apply.
- Its id starts with your team's slug.
- It publishes to your team without Vander Labs review. Once it is live, every member's AI can load it.
- Only members of your team and its author can see it. Vander Labs staff cannot read it in the product, and it is never used for the public catalog or ranked.
Audit log
Every load of a private blueprint or skill is written to the team's audit log: who loaded which one, when, and in which AI client. The log also records changes to the team, such as invitations, people joining or being removed, role changes, seat changes and edits to private items. Owners and admins see it on the team page.
Seats
- Owners and admins change the number of seats under Seats on the team page.
- Adding seats charges the rest of the billing year now, prorated.
- Removing seats credits your next bill.
- Seats can not go below the number of members, so remove people first.
- Up to 1,000 seats can be bought online. For more, contact us about a contract.
Leaving and removing people
- Anyone except the owner can leave the team with Leave next to their name.
- Owners and admins can remove anyone except the owner with Remove.
- The owner can not leave or be removed. To step away, hand ownership to someone else first.
When someone leaves or is removed, they lose access to the team's private blueprints and skills. Their own Vander Labs account stays.
If the plan ends
If the team's plan ends, private items and seats pause until it is renewed. The team page shows a notice, and the owner can renew the plan from Settings.
